El guerrero


Sigo con mis experimentos con acuarelas.
En este caso, se trata de una escultura de un gran guerrero chino, un souvenir de China que me trajeron hace unos años.

He utilizado, para su realización, principalmente el color negro con un toque de azul y verde, he completado la composición con toques de rojo para el fondo, mi intención es potenciar, mediante ese color, el lugar de donde proviene la escultura.

¿Qué os parece?

¿Tendría que intensificar mas el color rojo del fondo?

Cada vez, me voy encontrando más cómoda con las acuarelas..

Pues a mí me gustan mucho ambas, Marichu. En ambas encuentro un carácter vivo e íntimo a la vez. En el caso del guerrero, atendiendo a tu pregunta, tal vez -sólo tal vez-, acentuar alguna parte del fondo: aplicar la máxima del maestro Ingres, aquello de "al lado de toda claridad, una oscuridad"... El almiar llameante homenaje a Monet, precioso. Me encanta.

Hola, Abela. Te digo que eres una maestra con los pinceles. No me gusta aconsejar sobre pintura, es muy personal. A mí me gustan. El guerrero es muy original y el homenaje te ha quedado con una energía bárbara. Buen finde. Besazossssssssssssss

Your Chinese Warrior is very well done and I like the sun and shadow in the red/orange background. But I really love the Monet. I like that style of painting(Impressionism mixed with brighter colors.)
