PARA ROSARIO

Como sabéis, si puedo hago coincidir mis obras con la personalidad de su futuro dueño.
En este caso, su dueña es una mujer a la que quiero y admiro desde el mismo día en que la conocí, ella es una persona acogedora y no solo con su familia, siempre la he visto como el prototipo de "mujer-madre-hermana-amiga" y actual mente abuela.
Después de esta descripción entenderéis por qué elegí este tema para ella.

He conseguido la fotografía hace unos días y he querido mostrarla enseguida, la obra tiene sus años y sus fallos pero a mi me sigue gustando.
Muestra a una madre protectora, jugando con su  niño, el pelo largo y suelto como muestra de la juventud de la chica
 Me gustaba todo el ropaje en rojo vivo, pero por el tamaño del dibujo, resultaba muy agresivo tanta cantidad de rojo, así que fui degradando el tono y añadiendo carmines mezclados con ocres y tierras.
El dibujo corta parte de la cabeza pero muestra la cara, es para conseguir que el espectador se fije primero en el niño recogido dentro de su gran madre.

Hola Marichu. Es muy buena ídea hacer los trabajos contando con la personalidad de quien vas ha pintar. porque eso se ve en el resultado de la pintura y esta es muy entrañable. Me parece que sabes poner los tonos y las texturas adecuadas. Un abrazo

Tienes un don especial para pintar el cabello. Parece como que tienen vida propia.
Ese cuadro es tierno y duro a la vez. Las manos de esa mujer, con los huesos marcados, son las manos de una mujer que sabe lo que quiere. La ternura está difuminada en la luz y en la disposición del niño a dejarse hacer. La dureza en las manos nudosas, la nariz y el mentón marcado de la madre. El pelo, aparte de darle vida, le confiere intimidad a la escena al estar colgando como un velo, protegiendo al niño. Pero donde más veo la reconciliación entre la dualidad ternura-dureza es en el uso del rojo. Está pero en un tono pastel, suave, comedido y el verde más allá del pelo-velo que protege al niño del exterior.
Podría ser una evolución de todas esas Madonnas frágiles y desocupadas de otras épocas. Esta sabe lo que hace, cómo lo hace y se sobreentiende que más allá del niño hay una vida llena de decisiones, movimiento y vida.
Un cuadro que despierta muchos sentimientos.
